I'm Oluwabusola Shokunbi, a designer with a deep respect for the textiles I grew up around.
I started the business in 2016 as MsBeeFab, a line of comfy, laid-back clothing. It grew into Andrew Tabitha, a Lagos-based fashion house, and it wasn't until 2024 that I began working with Aso-Oke, reimagining it at the intersection of West African heritage and contemporary design. Since then it's grown into a full brand: a Lagos showroom, a ready-to-wear essentials line, and stockists in London, Dubai, and Canada.
I lead everything from creative direction to collection development, with a particular focus on reimagining traditional Aso-Oke weaving for a global audience. The house carries the work, and it is God who built it.
None of that is the whole of who I am, though. I travel with intention when I can, not to collect places, but to actually slow down inside them. And I try to hold a well-rounded life: I don't want to be defined by what I do, but by being made in the image of God, and by loving well the people around me.
That means protecting the time and capacity to show up for my friends, and choosing an environment (at home, at work) that feels like peace rather than noise. The work matters to me. It just isn't the deepest thing about me.

Fun facts
- I wave at cars on the opposite side of the road, knowing full well they have no idea who I am. It keeps them wondering, right up until I've already driven off.
- I'm a minimalist who visits maximalist styling once in a while.
- I give away a lot of clothes. Somehow, I'm just never that attached.
- Louis Vuitton has my heart, especially anything in Epi leather. Count me in, every time.
- I serve as protocol for my Pastor, locally and internationally. It's a privilege to be of use to someone who has given herself fully to God's work.
